CF Industries, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of
Compensation Analyst at our corporate office.
The
Compensation Analyst reports to the Director, Compensation & HR
Systems and has the following responsibilities:
Job Documentation and Analysis
- Documents and evaluates existing and new positions and
recommends appropriate salary grade assignments and FLSA status
to meet internal and external requirements.
- Ensures the timely development and maintenance of position
descriptions.
Salary Administration
- Provides counsel to supervisors and HR staff regarding
hiring salaries, salary increase actions, compensation
administration practices and market trends.
- Prepares and distributes the annual salary plan for review
by CF’s management team along with periodic updates to the plan.
Reviews each department’s budget to ensure pay recommendations
comply with CF’s pay policies.
- As needed, enters merit increases, performance review
information, transfers, and promotional actions into CF’s HRIS.
Variable Pay
- Acts as plan administrator, maintains participant logs,
prepares quarterly accruals and ensures all recommendations and
approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
HR Information
- Conducts or participates in various surveys designed to
identify competitive HR practices. Ensures that the database is
comprehensive and complete.
- Supports the development of a variety of communication
materials designed to increase employee/supervisor understanding
of the company’s compensation philosophy and practices.
- Orients and counsels management and employees as appropriate
on compensation-related topics.
- Conducts research for and assists the Director, Compensation
& HR Systems in compensation policy development and other
related projects.
- Provides back-up to the stock plan administrator.
- Supports relocation activities.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or
Business and one to two years of compensation experience. CCP
designation is desirable.
Must have excellent communication, analytical and writing skills.
Advanced experience with Excel and relational databases is a plus.
