CF Industries, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of EHS/Project Engineer in its Corporate EHS & Engineering office near Bartow, Florida.
The EHS/Project Engineer reports to the Manager, Corporate EHS Audit Group for EHS functions, and to the General Manager, Engineering and Construction for project assignments. The EHS/Project Engineer has the following responsibilities:
- Conduct technical and regulatory research on EHS and Security issues and incorporate this information into EHS protocols and written audit reports.
- Participate in on-site audits and other EHS activities at CF facilities in the United States and Canada.
- Assist in writing reports for audits and follow-up inspections.
- Participate as technical advisor regarding EHS issues associated with various CF committees and councils.
- Direct and assist in the preparation of capital project estimates, budgets, scope documents, etc.
- Supervise the routine activities of engineers, contractors and employees in the design and procurement of capital projects.
- Coordinate design and specification matters with the group having operational responsibility for the completed work.
- Coordinate engineering-related construction activities with the construction manager.
Requirements include a BS Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical, with 3 to 5 years experience in project management. Excellent technical writing, computer, and verbal communication skills are required. A working knowledge of U.S. Government regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) is preferred.
