Technical Services Department
Phosphate Rock Mine - Hardee County, Florida
CF Industries, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of Geologist/Mine Planner in the Technical Services Department at our Hardee Phosphate Complex in Central Florida.
The Geologist/Mine Planner will:
- Design and manage facility prospecting and metallurgical program.
- Conduct financial evaluations for reserve acquisitions and alternative mine scenarios.
- Conduct short- and long-term mine planning, production forecasting and reporting.
- Prepare mapping, interpretation and evaluation of geologic data.
- Perform waste disposal planning and reporting in conjunction with mining and reclamation activities.
Preferred qualifications include:
- B.S. in Geology or Mining Engineering.
- 2-5 years mining industry experience preferred.
- Experience with AutoCad, ArcInfo, mining software, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic skills a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
