Engineering Department
Plant City Phosphate Complex - Hillsborough County, Florida
CF Industries, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of Process Engineer in the Engineering Department at our Plant City Phosphate Complex in Central Florida.
The Process Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and has the following responsibilities:
- Help with optimization and troubleshooting of daily operations based on review of process data and evaluation of laboratory results.
- Provide the technical support needed to ensure facility compliance with environmental operating limits, participate in HAZOP studies, and ensure that health & safety standards are met.
- Develop improvement projects, from conception through start-up.
- Provide technical support for production units; optimize yield utilizing analytical methods, statistical methods, and calculations.
- Participate in product quality control/assurance projects.
- Diagnose operating problems and monitor operations of assigned units on a daily basis.
- Use standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques in providing solutions to a variety of problems.
Requirements include a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5 - 15+ years experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Aspen Plus. DCS experience preferred. Excellent organizational, oral, and written skills are required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
