UAN solution plant

| • | Anhydrous Ammonia, a gas at ambient temperatures that contains the highest nitrogen content (82 percent) of any fertilizer product. Anhydrous ammonia is applied by injecting into the subsoil. It is also the basic nitrogen fertilizer used to produce upgraded products such as urea and UAN solution. |
| • | Urea, a granular fertilizer product with a 46 percent nitrogen content that, in its liquid form, can be upgraded into UAN solution. Granular urea is applied using conventional spreader technology. |
| • | UAN Solution, a liquid product, generally contains from 28 percent to 32 percent nitrogen. UAN is applied via spraying, often mixed with herbicides and pesticides to reduce costs. |
