It is also the basic nitrogen fertilizer used to produce upgraded products such as urea (at Medicine Hat) and UAN solution (at CF Industries’ Donaldsonville complex). |
| • | Urea, a granular fertilizer with a 46 percent nitrogen content that, in its liquid form, can be upgraded into UAN solution (at CF Industries’ Donaldsonville complex). Granular urea is applied using conventional spreader technology. |
