Senior Leadership

Our senior leadership team brings extensive experience building and growing successful companies. Below is the team, along with their roles and responsibilities.

Chris Bohn

President and Chief Executive Officer

Chris Bohn

Chris Bohn is the president and chief executive officer of CF Industries and has served as a member of the board of directors of CF Industries Holdings, Inc. since January 2024.

Mr. Bohn assumed the role of president and CEO on January 5, 2026. Before this position, he served as the chief operating officer of CF Industries, a position he was elected to in 2024. In that role, he was responsible for leading the Company's manufacturing, distribution, sales, and supply chain organizations, as well as its clean energy initiatives. 

From 2019 to 2024, Mr. Bohn served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer. He also held various positions within the company, including senior vice president of manufacturing and distribution from 2015 to 2019, vice president of supply chain from 2014 to 2015, and vice president of corporate planning from 2010 to 2014. Mr. Bohn joined CF Industries in September 2009 as the director of corporate planning and analysis.

Mr. Bohn is a member of the Business Roundtable and Commercial Club of Chicago.  He is a steering member of the Hydrogen Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Fertilizer Association, as well as the Executive Board of The Fertilizer Institute.

Mr. Bohn earned his BS degree in Finance at Indiana University and holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Greg Cameron

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Greg Cameron

Greg Cameron joined CF Industries in June 2024 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. 

Mr. Cameron most recently served as president and chief financial officer of Bloom Energy, a global leader in solid oxide fuel cell technology. He joined Bloom Energy in 2020 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Mr. Cameron held a series of senior roles at General Electric over 26 years, including president and chief executive officer, global operations-GE Company from 2018 through 2019, and president and chief executive officer, global legacy solutions-GE Capital from 2016 through 2018.

Linda Dempsey

Vice President, Public Affairs

Linda Dempsey

Linda M. Dempsey was named vice president, public affairs, of CF Industries in February 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global public affairs function. Prior to joining CF, Ms. Dempsey was vice president, international economic affairs, for the National Association of Manufacturers, and has previous experience with business associations, as a senior trade advisor on Capitol Hill and as an attorney in private practice.

She holds a BA in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University and a JD from the University of California at Berkley.

Bert Frost

Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

Bert Frost

Bert Frost is executive vice president and chief commercial officer. He joined CF Industries in November 2008.

Previously, he was with Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), one of the world's largest agricultural processors, where he had served as managing director, international fertilizer and inputs, based in Switzerland since early in 2008. Earlier, he was director of the fertilizer, logistics, and ports divisions for ADM based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Frost holds a B.S. degree in business from Kansas State University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.

Ashraf Malik

Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Distribution

Ashraf Malik

Ashraf Malik is senior vice president, manufacturing and distribution, a role he assumed in September 2019, with accountability for the company’s manufacturing, corporate engineering, environmental health and safety, and distribution facilities. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president, site operations, since 2012. Mr. Malik has more than 30 years of experience within the chemicals industry, having worked in senior roles for GrowHow UK, Terra Industries and ICI PLC.

He is a member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, London, and the UK Engineering Council. He is a chartered engineer and holds a first class honors degree in Control, Instrumentation & Systems Engineering from The City University, London.

Erik Mayer

Vice President, Clean Energy and Business Development

Erik M. Mayer

Erik Mayer is vice president, clean energy and business development, with responsibility for advancing CF Industries’ clean energy and decarbonization initiatives as well as developing new business opportunities. He has led the Company’s clean energy team since 2021. Mr. Mayer joined CF Industries in 2005 and served in a series of increasingly senior roles focused on the development, construction, and operation of ammonia and downstream nitrogen product manufacturing assets.  From 2019-2021 he led the commercial activities and marketing and sales strategy for CF Industries’ global ammonia business.

Mr. Mayer holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mike McGrane

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Mike McGrane

Mike McGrane is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of CF Industries, a role he assumed in 2023. He joined CF Industries in 2011 as associate general counsel and assistant secretary and was also appointed chief compliance officer in 2016. Prior to joining CF Industries, Mr. McGrane was an attorney at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, where his practice concentrated on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate governance, and general corporate and securities law matters. Mr. McGrane holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Sue Menzel

Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

Sue Menzel

Sue Menzel was named executive vice president and chief administrative officer in July 2023, overseeing CF Industries' human resources, information technology and legal functions. She joined the Company as senior vice president, human resources, in October 2017. 

Prior to joining CF Industries, Ms. Menzel served as executive vice president, human resources for CNO Financial Group. Prior to CNO, she served as senior vice president, human resources for APAC Customer Services, Inc., and in roles of increasing responsibility for Sears, Roebuck & Company and Montgomery Ward, Inc.

Ms. Menzel holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Augustana College.
